In September, for National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, Family & Children’s Services (FCS) is teaming up with community partners in Tulsa to raise awareness and provide support for mental health and suicide prevention through a campaign called “You Matter.” Many people will participate in our sidewalk chalk initiative to spread uplifting messages and share important information about COPES, Tulsa County’s 24/7 crisis hotline and mobile response team, and 988, the national suicide prevention hotline. Anyone can call these numbers at any time to seek help.
