Thanks to the generosity of QuikTrip and Raising Cane’s, 25 volunteers assembled 1,369 activity bags recently to distribute to FCS Child Abuse and Trauma Services, CHBS and Women in Recovery/Women’s Justice Team clients.
“We are grateful for this wonderful donation from QuikTrip and its team members that have stepped up to help our Family & Children’s Services’ (FCS) kids in four program areas who need immediate support,” said Tom Taylor, FCS chief development officer. “Not only are we committed to providing services for children who are experiencing related anxiety, withdrawal and hardship during this pandemic, but because of the support from QuikTrip’s and Raising Canes, we were also able to provide them with an activity bag to relieve some stress.”
