On the evening of December 6, the air was filled with the enchanting spirit of the holiday season at the Family & Children’s Services Child Abuse & Trauma Services Christmas party. A crowd of 230 attendees, their faces glowing with anticipation, were warmly welcomed by the dedicated staff.
The centerpiece of the event was a majestic Christmas tree, its branches laden with many toys, both wrapped and unwrapped. The sight of the tree, a symbol of joy and generosity, left the children in awe. Their eyes wide and mouths agape, they eagerly awaited their turn to capture a memorable holiday photo, pen a heartfelt letter to Santa and experience the thrill of shaking hands with the jolly old man himself.
The event was not just about receiving, but also about creating. Attendees immersed themselves in arts and crafts, their hands skillfully transforming simple materials into tokens of holiday cheer.
The event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors. A heartfelt thanks to QuikTrip, our presenting sponsor, and Chick-fil-A – Promenade Mall, the sponsor of Santa’s Helpers. We also extend our gratitude to the Family & Children’s Services Young Professional Advisory Council, Papa John’s Pizza, and of course, Santa Claus and his merry company. Their contributions brought smiles to many faces, making the event a truly magical experience.
