Family & Children’s Services is proud to announce the appointment of Mimi Tarrasch as Chief External Relations Officer (CERO).
In this executive leadership role, Tarrasch serves as a strategic ambassador for the organization, representing the CEO and Executive Leadership Team in the community and with key stakeholders, civic leaders, funders and partner organizations. The Chief External Relations Officer role strengthens how Family & Children’s Services engages externally ensuring alignment across advocacy, community relations, development and public affairs in support of the agency’s mission and strategic priorities.
As CERO, Tarrasch supports executive alignment and cross‑departmental coordination during periods of growth and transformation. She works closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging, effective collaboration and strong relationships that advance organizational goals and community impact.
Tarrasch also partners with the CEO and the Family & Children’s Services Charitable Fund to cultivate and steward relationships with institutional funders, donors, foundations and corporate partners, supporting capital campaigns and new initiatives that expand the organization’s reach.
Her appointment reflects Family & Children’s Services’ continued commitment to intentional leadership, strategic partnerships and meaningful community engagement.
