On December 3, the holiday spirit filled the Family & Children’s Services Child Abuse & Trauma Services Christmas party. About 244 people came, excited and smiling, and were welcomed by staff and members of the Young Professional Advisory Council (YPAC).
Lydia Jeong, one of the YPAC members who helped with the event, said:
“It’s inspiring every year to see young professionals engage in philanthropy in such a relational and hands-on way. The CATS Holiday Party is a powerful reminder of how much connection matters in this work, and it’s easy to see why everyone calls it their favorite event of the year.”
The biggest attraction was a beautiful Christmas tree covered with toys, both wrapped and unwrapped. The children were amazed and couldn’t wait to take holiday photos, write letters to Santa, and meet Santa himself.
The party wasn’t just about gifts — it was about making memories. Guests enjoyed arts and crafts, turning simple supplies into fun holiday decorations.
This special event happened thanks to our generous sponsors. A big thank you to QuikTrip, our presenting sponsor, and Chick-fil-A – Promenade Mall, sponsor of Santa’s Helpers. We also appreciate Papa John’s Pizza and, of course, Santa and his helpers. Their support made the day magical and brought smiles to so many faces.
