Family & Children’s Services provides home-based treatment services for girls and boys who’ve been hurt by abuse or trauma.
Home-based services are designed for families that have barriers—such as a lack of reliable transportation, child care issues and other complications— which prevent them from coming to a traditional office setting for treatment.
Through the program, our highly skilled therapists and case managers deliver evidence-based trauma treatment in clients’ home settings. We help children overcome a wide range of problems—from mild to severe—that can develop following traumatic events. Family members, foster parents and other caregivers can be included in the therapy process.
The program is funded by a SAMHSA grant through Family & Children’s Services’ partnership with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network.
