Our
Home-based Family Preservation Specialists work with high-risk
families to stabilize crises and prevent the removal of
children from the home due to abuse or neglect. Families
are referred to the program by the Department of Human Services,
Child Welfare. We offer:
- Intensive
home-based services, parenting skills, crisis intervention,
resource referrals and development, linkage to services,
communication skills, risk assessments, advocacy, child
development information, basic health information, trauma
education, the impact of abuse and neglect on family dynamics,
crisis assistance, housing and basic needs are provided
for families at risk for child abuse. Services focus on
prevention of child abuse and neglect, and reunification
of children who were removed due to abuse and/or neglect.
Services are provided in Creek, Osage, Tulsa and Washington
counties.
- Parent Aide -
We provide to families, who are at risk for or have experienced
abuse and neglect, parenting education and skills development,
support, basic needs, information, and referral.
- SWIFT Adoption:
Child profiles are completed for children waiting to be
placed for adoption. The profiles consist of information
about the child's biological family, health, education
and developmental, past and current needs. The profiles
are used to disclose information to potential adoptive
families. Services are provided in Creek, Osage, Tulsa
and Washington counties.
- Resource Family
Assessments - Assessment specialists complete home studies
on applicants that desire to be an adoptive or foster
home for children in Department of Human Services custody.
Services are provided in Creek, Osage, Tulsa and Washington
counties.
