Counseling Services
"How
do you say thank you to someone who has helped to reconstruct
your life? Because you taught me how to reapply the tools
in my toolbox, I have become a better mother, human being,
friend, coworker. In a word or two, a better person."

Family &
Children's Services Counseling Program can bring families
and couples closer as they work together to recognize the
srengths each person brings to solving life's problems.
Individuals often discover their own personal solutions
to difficulties as they talk with a therapist. We offer:
Individual
and Family Therapy - We can help you work through
conflicts, develop new ways of handling stress, make life
decisions, and establish new, healthy ways to function as
a family.
Couples
Therapy -- We assist couples in identifying concerns
in their relationships and help them develop skills to nurture
long, loving connections.
Child
& Play Therapy - Our play therapists work together
with young children and their families to help with divorce
adjustment, grief issues, and behavior problems to establish
positive relationships, improve communication skills and
build self-esteem.
Parent-Child
Interaction Therapy (PCIT) - We help parents learn
essential parenting skills, how to decrease stress and child
behavior problems, and how to improve relationships with
their children while engaging in therapist-coached therapeutic
play sessions.
ADD/HD
Screening - We
provide ADD/HD screening for children and adults in Tulsa
County, beginning at age 4. Our counselors work with families
of children with ADD/HD to reduce current behavior problems
and the development of further difficulties that can stem
from an attention disorder.
Brief
Therapy - We can help you tap unrealized resources
in generating solutions for many types of problems. The
average number of sessions is four to five -- and sometimes
only one.
