Center for Divorce Services

"I don't feel like the divorce is my fault anymore."
- A 6-year-old girl

Divorce can be traumatic for everyone involved. In our Center for Divorce Services, professional counselors work to alleviate children's problems, reduce adult stress, and help divorced parents develop successful co-parenting plans. We provide:

Family and Individual Counseling - We offer counseling services to single, separated and divorcing parents; blended families; children struggling with divorce; and other divorce-related concerns.

Mediation and Parenting Planning Services - Our trained, neutral professionals facilitate communication between custodial and non-custodial parents to establish mutual agreement concerning child-rearing decisions.

Helping Children Cope With Divorce Seminar - This national, award-winning seminar is designed to help parents understand what a child is experiencing as a result of divorce and how to respond to the child's needs. Click here to learn more about class times, locations and fees.

Divorce Support Group - Healing can be a difficult process following separation or divorce. This support group provides a network of people who understand what divorce is like. Learn to focus on letting go of the past and moving ahead toward a new future. This free, ongoing group is held on the first Thursday of each month.

Surviving High Conflict - It's difficult to rebuild lives after divorce or separation. For some, the conflict continues long after the order is final. F&CS offers a workshop that can help reduce the levels of conflict and stress experienced during and after the legal process. Click here to learn more about classes, times, locations and fees.

Caring Connections for Kids - In collaboration with the Tulsa County Court, the program is designed to reduce the trauma of divorce on children by helping parents develop workable parenting plans.

Educational Programs - We provide classes and workshops for divorcing couples and parents to learn new skills and get a better understanding of the issues they face. Click here for a list of parenting classes.

Two Homes, Two Parents; Parenting After Divorce - When creating healthy post-divorce environments, the primary focus is the needs of your children. Co-parents will learn how to maintain family relationships, techniques for effective communication, and conflict resolution while making both homes secure and supportive.
