Help us give overburdened families the happiest of holidays. Sign up now to adopt a family in need or donate.

Donors can also help during the holidays by giving to the F&CS Santa Shop. Our elves have requested:

Toys, books and games for kids of all ages
Gifts for teens
Clothing, coats, pajamas and HUGS (hats, underwear, gloves and socks)
Small household items and toiletries
Monetary gifts/grocery cards

We welcome donations through Friday, December 15, 2017 at our Central Office, 650 S. Peoria Ave.

DONATIONS

F&CS’s Holiday Assistance program was created to help our neediest families with holiday stress.

Holiday Assistance has two components: Adopt-a-Family and Santa’s Shop.

Adopt-a-Family matches individual donors to FCS families in need. In 2016, 159 families were adopted (a 4% increase from 2015). The way it works is that each F&CS case worker and therapist identifies just one client that is active in treatment and has the most need of resource assistance.

For the many families that aren’t adopted, the Santa Shop is a place where case workers can shop for their clients. One-hundred percent of donations go to the clients of F&CS.
