Gifts to Family & Children's Services can be made in several ways:

• A cash or credit card gift is a simple and convenient way to make a charitable contribution.
• If you elect to do so, your gift can recognize a special person or event, such as a memorial, anniversary or birthday.
• A gift of stock or securities provides the full fair market value of the appreciated securities as a deduction, and you do not have to pay federal capital gains tax on the appreciated portion of the gift.
• A gift of real estate can provide the same tax advantage.
• A planned gift to F&CS may provide you with philanthropic rewards, while ensuring our services will be available to families for many years to come. Examples of planned gifts are bequests, life insurance, and life income gifts such as charitable remainder trusts.
