Since 2003, Eastern Oklahoma Donated Dental Services (EODDS) has provided free dental services, preventative dental education and oral health supplies to older Oklahomans and people with disabilities or low income. One of the programs EODDS partners with is the Family & Children’s Services Women in Recovery (WIR) program which is an alternative to incarceration program for women who face prison time for drug-related offenses. Since 2010, more than 160 WIR participants have received free dental work, from filling minor cavities and root canals to major dental surgery and dentures.
