Starting in February, Family & Children’s Services will offer in-home, evidence-based treatment for children who’ve suffered abuse or other traumas. The agency received a large federal grant to initiate the new service delivery model. Under the terms of the grant, Family & Children’s Services will expand and adapt three treatments – Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – for use in the home environment.
