A Child Needs New Kicks

Put a huge grin a kid's face by putting new sneakers on their feet during the Moody's Back-to-School Shoe Drive July 6 - Aug. 6. Many of these children have never known what it's like to own a new pair of tennis shoes.

"I noticed several children in a group of 20 or so that did not have shoes," said a caregiver after last year's shoe drive. "They waited patiently, and others impatiently, on the heated concrete for their turn to enter the recreation center for their meal. I displayed the shoes in an area and the children rushed over to see the shoes I had lined up."

To participate, drop off a new pair of tennis shoes at any Moody's location, and Moody's will donate them to a Family & Children's Services child in need. You will give them the confidence and comfort they need to kick off their school year.
